Thanks to the organizational efforts of the charitable organization Kinderhilfe KiHeV in the cultural center of Kesselhaus, Weil-am-Rhine, Germany, on 26.12.2018 a big charity concert of the band “Bond’s Big Band” from the local music school took place. In the performance of young musicians under the direction of Mr. Christian Leiterer, Christmas melodies such as “Feliz Navidad”, “We Wish you a Merry Christmas”, “Swingin Shantys”, “Swingin Shanti”, as well as hits of the big band, such as “In the Mood”, “25 or 6 to 4”, and others sounded fresh, dynamically, musically perfectly, with genuine passion and appreciative joy of performance.
The victory in the competition for the right to participate in a joint concert with the world-famous SWR Big Band on March 28, 2019 at the Altrheinhalle shopping center testifies to the musical quality of the “Bond’s Big-Band”. T. Harms’s story about his 26-year charity activity in favor of the Radiation center clinic as one of the most important life tasks the audience paid tumultuous applause.
